Last updated: October 20, 2026. China has become a major source of crushers, sand makers and screens for mining and aggregates, led by Shanghai- and Henan-based makers and by mining-equipment groups. This ranking covers the Chinese manufacturers buyers most often shortlist, scored on the global four dimensions plus two China-specific ones. See the Crushing & Screening Buying Guide for the selection path.

The core idea of this page: Chinese crusher makers compete on price and configurability, but the buyer's real risk is certification traceability, spec disclosure and after-sales support outside China — verify the certificate number, the published specification and the spare-parts lead time before buying.

Ranking methodology

This is an independent editorial ranking — no manufacturer pays for placement or position. We score on the four global dimensions and two China-specific ones:

  • Technical capability — crusher range and flagship model specifications.
  • Market coverage — years in the market and export / reference-installation coverage.
  • Equipment reliability — warranty, service commitments and published cases.
  • Data verifiability — whether specifications are published; unpublished figures are marked "Not published".
  • Certification traceability — whether CE/ISO certificate numbers can be verified with the issuing body (a self-declared "CE passed" is not enough).
  • Specification disclosure — whether speed, capacity and dimensions are published; missing specs are themselves a selection signal.

China cost benchmark

Chinese crushers are typically quoted FOB China port, excluding freight, duties and commissioning. Treat these as indicative bands (editorial estimate), and always confirm the quotation scope:

MachineTypical China FOB band
PE jaw crusher (small–mid)US$15k–80k
Cone crusher (mid)US$40k–150k
VSI sand makerUS$20k–90k
Complete line (crushing + screening)US$150k+

China-specific pitfalls

  • Self-declared "CE passed". Ask for the certificate number and verify it with the issuing body — a self-declaration is not certification.
  • Missing or inflated specifications. Many Chinese makers do not publish capacity and power; treat missing specs as a signal and request a witnessed test.
  • Unclear after-sales reach. Confirm who commissions the machine, where spare parts ship from and the response time.
  • Wear-part quality variance. Confirm the liner material grade and the wear-part price, not just the machine price.

5 questions to ask before you buy

  1. Can you give me the CE/ISO certificate number to verify? A certificate number verifiable with the issuing body, not a self-declared mark.
  2. What is the measured capacity and product size on my rock? Request a witnessed trial, not a brochure figure.
  3. Who commissions the machine and where do spare parts ship from? Confirm the FAT scope and the spare-parts lead time in writing.
  4. What is the wear-part material grade and price? Liner and blow-bar cost dominate Chinese crusher cost per tonne.
  5. Is tooling, changeover and freight included in the FOB price? Separate the machine price from tooling, freight and duties.
