Manufacturer Ranking

Top 10 China Product Inspection Machine Manufacturers (2026)

An independent ranking of Chinese product inspection machine builders across metal detection, checkweighing, X-ray and seal/leak testing, with verifiable specs.

By Global Machinery Hub · Published August 24, 2026 · Updated September 14, 2026 · 5 min read

Buying product inspection equipment from China is a different exercise from a Western or Japanese brand: the value concentrates at the entry and mid tiers, the sensitivity figures are often thinner, and the real work is verifying the certificate, the demonstrated detection sensitivity and the false-reject rate — not the brochure.

This 2026 edition ranks ten Chinese inspection builders across metal detection, checkweighing, X-ray and seal/leak testing. Note: this is an independent editorial ranking — no sponsored placements are included.

Ranking methodology

Each entry is evaluated on four dimensions plus two China-specific checks:

  • Technical capability — breadth of inspection technology (metal detection, checkweighing, X-ray, seal testing).
  • Market presence — installed base, export record and listed-company status where applicable.
  • Equipment reliability — demonstrated against the manufacturer’s own published specifications.
  • Data verifiability — every figure below carries a citation; where a figure is not published we write “Not published” rather than estimate it.
  • China-specific: certification traceability — whether CE/ISO claims are verifiable.
  • China-specific: specification disclosure — whether detection sensitivity (mm) and throughput are published; absence is itself a selection signal.

1. Techik Instrument (上海太易)

Founded in 2008 in Shanghai, Techik spans metal detection, checkweighing and X-ray. Its IMD-H metal detector detects Fe Φ0.5mm and SUS304 Φ1.0–1.2mm.

Certifications: CE, ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001.

2. Hefei Meyer Optoelectronic Technology (美亚光电)

Listed on the Shenzhen exchange (002690), Meyer builds X-ray inspection systems. Its XS series detects SUS ball ≥Φ0.3mm.

Certifications: ISO9001; CE/ATEX for machines Not published.

3. Unicomp Technology (日联科技)

Founded in 2009 in Wuxi, Unicomp builds industrial X-ray and CT. Its UNX1830-D food X-ray uses a 120kV/480W source with a 0.2mm detector.

Certifications: ISO9001:2015, ISO14001, ISO45001, CE, UKCA, FDA.

4. Mesnac (软控)

Listed on the Shenzhen exchange, Mesnac builds tire X-ray inspection systems. Its YLX machines inspect radial tire internal structure.

Certifications: CE (X-ray, TÜV SÜD).

5. Shanghai Shigan Industrial (实干)

Founded in 2010, Shigan builds checkweighers. Its SG-600 handles 30–100kg at ±10g and 20 pcs/min.

Certifications: CE (2018).

6. Jinan Saicheng Electronic Technology (赛成)

Founded in 2007, Saicheng builds seal and leak testers. Its MK-2000H reaches 10Pa vacuum with 0.01 sccm sensitivity.

Certifications: ISO9001, CE, CPA.

7. Shanghai BHI Instrument (芝研)

Founded in 2010, BHI builds metal detectors, checkweighers and X-ray. Its S series metal detector detects Fe Φ0.5mm and SUS304 Φ1.0mm.

Certifications: ISO9001/14001/45001, FDA, CE, BV, MID.

8. Dongguan Juzheng Electronic Technology (矩正新锐)

Founded in 2006, Juzheng builds metal detectors, checkweighers and X-ray. Its XR-980 metal detector uses a 400mm channel and detects Fe Φ0.8mm.

Certifications: CE, ISO9000.

9. Foshan High-Tech Machinery Equipment (海特高智)

Founded in 2011, Foshan High-Tech builds metal detectors and checkweighers. Its metal detector detects Fe Φ0.6mm at 27 m/min.

Certifications: Not published (certificate images only).

10. Shanghai Vixdetect Inspection Equipment (微现)

Founded in 2018, Vixdetect builds X-ray and metal detection. Its VXD-C4016 X-ray uses a 0.2/0.4mm detector at 5–60 m/min.

Certifications: ISO9001 (TÜV Rheinland), CE.

Cost benchmarks: Chinese inspection FOB

Chinese inspection builders concentrate at the entry and mid tiers — a compact metal detector or checkweigher sits in the low tens of thousands of USD, while an X-ray system runs higher. Always quote with your product, aperture/weighing range, reject mechanism and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), and add service separately.

Buyer beware: the 4 China-specific pitfalls

  1. Certificate claims that are not verifiable. Ask for the CE/ISO certificate number and verify it against the issuing body.
  2. Unpublished sensitivity and false-reject rate. Sensitivity without a false-reject figure is meaningless; require a challenged test on your product.
  3. Service reach outside China. Confirm who commissions the machine, where spares ship from, and the response time for your region.
  4. Validation documentation. IQ/OQ/PQ and calibration may be excluded; clarify who writes them.

5 questions to ask before you buy

  1. Can you verify the CE/ISO certificate number against the issuing body? A claimed certification that cannot be verified is not a certification.
  2. What detection sensitivity do you guarantee, and at what false-reject rate? Ask for both on your product.
  3. Can you run my product through a challenged test and show me the detection data? A witnessed test is the only proof that matters.
  4. Which standard does the system meet (IP, ATEX, 3-A, EHEDG)? Match the rating to your wash-down environment.
  5. Is the checkweigher MID/OIML approved for legal metrology? Confirm for weight-regulated fills.
