Honeywell is a multinational conglomerate company that produces a variety of commercial and consumer products, engineering services, and aerospace systems. It operates in four business segments: Aerospace, Building Technologies, Performance Materials and Technologies, and Safety and Productivity Solutions.Founded in 1906 as a manufacturer of heating systems. In 1961, it became Honeywell Inc. and expanded into different sectors. In 1985, it acquired the company AlliedSignal and changed its name to Honeywell International Inc. in 1999. Over the years, it has continued to grow through various acquisitions and advancements in technology.
